AFTER 58 DAYS BENUE INDEX CASE REGAINS FREEDOM

Susa Idoko

A British-Nigerian woman identified as Susan Idoko who was believed to be  Benue state's covid-19 index case has been released from the isolation centre after 58 days.

Mrs Idoko who felt she was held against her will, queried the result of the test carried out by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control which declared her positive for covid-19.

She argued that, she was not given a copy of the test result even upon her release from where she called detention.

In a video she released on the social media recently, Mrs Idoko thanked those who fought doggedly in securing her freedom.
