A 300 level student of History and International Studies, identified as Rinji Peter Bala has been allegedly shot dead by some military officers.

Rinji also known as Bobo was thought to be strolling with some group of friends around his neighborhood when they were arrested by men of the Nigerian army for alleged theft.

According to some of the deceased close friends account, the army personnels could not prove the theft allegations against them and later released them to go home.

It is however unclear why the army personnel's later allegedly shot the 20 year old which led to his death.

But his death has caused uproar on the social media, with many Nigerians demanding justice for the late Rinji.

Following this development .a civil society movement online, has come forward to assist the family of the young man get justice.
