CNN PRESIDENT DECLARES ALL STAFF SAFE AFTER LAST NIGHT'S DISTURBANCES

The president of Cable Network News (CNN) Jeff Zucker has revealed that all staff working at the CNN centre in Atlanta are safe barely 24 hours after protesters stormed the network premises.

In a memo tweeted by CCN's chief correspondent Brian Stelter Mr Sucker was quoted as saying that the CNN logo outside the network's building which protesters had climbed spraying painted messages is also intact.


He said repair will be done to any damages left behind by the raging protesters.

Recalled that angry demonstrators had stormed the CNN headquarters in Atlanta on Friday in the wake of the murder of George Floyd a black American man by police in Minnesota.

It is unclear why the protesters came in large numbers besieging the premises of the network on Friday night.
