Nigeria's Minister of communication and digital economy has denied media reports that he engaged the services of gun men to chase out the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri-Erewa from the commission's office complex in Abuja.

Dr Isa Ali Pantami described the report as a mere fabrication, while denying that he has never sent any gunmen to the building, since the office complex is not directly under him.

He wondered why he was not giving fair-hearing.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa who spoke in a video tweeted by NIDCOM, accused the minister of ordering gunmen to throw out the commission from an office space given to them by the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC).
