DRAMA AS POLICE OFFICERS ENFORCE USE OF FACE MASK IN ABUJA

No fewer than five police officers have been caught on camera attempting to arrest some residents of Lugbe, an outskirt of the nation's capital Abuja for allegedly failing to wear face masks as one of the precautionary measures against covid-19.

The residents however refused arrest arguing that even the police officers who came to enforce the order were not also wearing face masks.

This ended up in a brawl between the police patrol team and the residents of the community.

It could be recalled that, the FCT authorities in April mandated compulsory use of face mask at public places in the city.
