MOTHER OF JOURNALIST CRIES OUT IN AKWA IBOM STATE

The mother of a radio presenter in Uyo, the Akwa  Ibom state  capital has cried out over what she described as the continued detention of her son.     

According to Mrs Agnes Akpan, her son Kufre Carter had  been detained unlawfully by the state security service without allowing any access to him.

In a video shared on the social media by Carter's lawyer showed the woman protesting outside the premises of the security service office in Uyo.

Mr Carter was thought to have been detained by the sss for allegedly criticising the Akwa Ibom state health commissioner Dr Dominic Udom.
