BUHARI OKAYS THE CONFIRMATION OF DONGBAN-MENSEM AS PRESIDENT OF COURT OF APPEAL

President Mohammadu Buhari has eventually sent the name of the acting President of the court of Appeal Justice Monica Dongaben-Mensem to the senate for confirmation.
This move is coming shortly after Nigerians including retired colonel Abubakar Umar criticised the president's delay in confirming the appointment of the judge.

President Buhari in a statement via his twitter handle on Monday wrote that the step taken was in line with the recommendation of the National Judicial Council.
Many still believe that the president was pressurized into taking the decision.
