FAMILY OF BLACK MAN MURDERED IN ATLANTA HEARTBROKEN AS TYLER PERRY MOVES TO FUND HIS FUNERAL

Family members of a black man shot and killed by police attached to the Atlanta police Department in the US have cried out for justice in a case that has  now been ruled as homicide.

In a bodycam video released, Rayshard Brooks was spotted as he was accosted by police in Atlanta on Friday night while sleeping in his car at a drive through in front of a restaurant.

This followed a call by the restaurant owner to the police department that Mr Brooks had blocked other vehicles from passing, arriving at the scene the police officers interrogated him, and carried out a sobriety test on him and he was discovered to be drunk.

In an attempt to handcuff him, Mr Brooks struggled with the police officers, an episode that eventually led to his murder.

The 27 year old Brooks is a father to three girls and his death has caused a huge emotional break down for his family.

The officer who gunned and killed Brooks had since been sacked but protesters in Atlanta are not backing down they want an end to racial killings by the police.

Condemnations over the recent killing has continued to grow online.

Meanwhile, movie mogul Tyler perry has offered to fund Brooks funeral , the victim,'s family lawyer made the announcement at a press conference on Monday.

However, Brooks' wife is finding it difficult to watch the bodycam video where her husband was shot and killed, but she wants all the Atlanta officers involved to go to jail.
