SENATOR AJIMOBI REPLACES OSHIOMOLE AS ACTING CHAIRMAN OF APC

Former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi will now replace Adams Oshiomole as the acting  chairman of the All progressives congress (APC) following the suspension of Oshiomole by the appeal court.

This is according to the National Publicity Secretary of the APC Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu in a statement on Tuesday.

He explained that the decision followed the party's  legal department advice which is  in line with the provisions of the APC constitution, that allows the Deputy National Chairman (south), Senator Abiola Ajimobi to serve in that capacity.

The court of Appeal upheld the decision of a FCT high court which suspended Oshiomole, one week to the primary elections of the party in Edo State.

But from all indications, the former two term governor of Edo state maybe testing the decision of the appeal court at the supreme court.
