A south African man has shared his ugly experience in the hands of some suspected rapists.

Sbusiso Msomi took to his social media handles to explain how he was given a car lift by some group of men, who ended up beating him and almost raped him.

Mr Msomi said it took the intervention of some people who walked into what would have been a rape scene to rescue him.

He came to a conclusion that men also get raped, prompting a wide range of comments on the social media.
