Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has now reached out to president Muhammadu Buhari to express his country's sincere apology over the demolition of structures at the Nigerian High Commission premises in Accra, Ghana.
In a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and publicity Garba Shehu, the Ghanaian president via a phone call assured president Buhari that he has directed a full investigation into the incident.
According to the statement, some suspects have arrested in connection with the demolition and are expected to be charged to the court.
